Tree Felling

Tree Worx Ltd can offer the complete removal of a tree to ground level, with complete cover of any required felling license. This involves the careful lowering of branches and timber to prevent damage to the surrounding area. Lowering ropes and all Health and Safety equipment, PPE are used at all times. Crown Reduction

To prune back the ends of branches this reduces the crown of the tree to a more compact size whilst retaining its natural shape. Tree pruning may be necessary to maintain a tree in a safe condition, to remove dead branches, to promote growth, to regulate size and shape or to improve the quality of flowers, fruit or timber. Improper pruning can lead to trees becoming unsightly, diseased and/or potentially dangerous.

 

 

Pollarding

Pollarding is a system in which the upper branches of a tree are removed, promoting a dense head of foliage and branches. This is primarily to maintain trees at a predetermined height.

 

 

Stump Grinding

 

A stump grinder or stump cutter is a power tool or equipment attachment that removes tree stumps by means of a rotating cutting disk that chips away the wood.

We are also able to treat existing tree stumps using a technique releasing glyphosate to the stumps to minimise root and stump sprouting.
